This instructional video illustrates a typical cassette exchange our our one-of-a-kind Knudson by Scottsdale KSE K35C roll former machine. KSE K35C produces miscellaneous steel framing typically deployed in building interior and exterior finishes. These components include furring channels, resilient furring channels, corner bead struts, U-struts, and many more. Available cold-formed steel profiles are shown on our product pages. While K35C is typically associated with light-gauge steel framing, its products can be readily deployed in other forms of construction, including wood, reinforced masonry, commercial concrete construction, and more.
K35C is unique in its flexible setup in that combines a powerful powertrain unit (power pack) along with an arbitrary number of cassettes, each covering a specific shape, allowing flexibility for the operators to tailor the number of cassettes to their specific steel framing purposes. This roll former is ideal for building supply operations, steel framing contractors, curtainwall builders, and many others. Check out just how easy and simple it is to swap out a cassette (e.g., one cassette producing resilient channels and the other producing corner bead struts) to produce a different cold-formed steel shape, creating an entirely different roll former.
