A non-structural cold-formed steel framing roll forming machine uniquely optimized for very small formed sizes and very thin gauges, producing standard SFIA/SSMA/CSSBI stud and track sections at the core of drywall, ceiling, and curtainwall work. ScotPanel Series

Scotpanel steel framing machines (models 5090, 5140, 7063, 7070, 7076, 7090, 7140, and 8140) create C-section profiles for framing walls, roofs, trusses, and more. They process profiles from 63 to 140 mm (2.5 to 5.5 inches) in depth and materials up to 1.5 mm (Ga.16) thick, while being ICC-ES certified and complying with the major global codes and standards such as EN 1993-1-3, AISI S100, IBC, and AS/NZS 4600.

APPLICATIONS: Residential, light commercial, modular, and industrial projects.  Scotpanel can be deployed both in a containerized factory or as a part of an offsite fabrication operation.  Many residential applications can be fully framed in a single day, from a single Scotpanel steel framing system.

ScotTruss Series

Scottruss steel truss roll forming machines (6050 and 6075) specialize in producing hat-channel steel trusses for superior span and load capacity. These systems complement Scotpanel and are optimized for large-scale structural needs, while also adhering to global standards like Eurocode 3, IBC, BS 5950, AS/NZ 4100, and AISI S100.  Each Scottruss truss steel framing system fabricates ICC-ES code-approved shapes.

Developed for residential and light commercial use, Scotpanel and Scottruss steel framing machines have expanded into sectors like industrial, high-rise, and modular construction. Portable and highly adaptable, they are ideal for containerized factories and remote locations, processing materials in compliance with ASTM A653, AS1397, and EN10346.

Scotpanel and Scottruss steel framing machines are designed to work in unison.  Harnessing on the strength of their compactness, precision, and seamless integration, the majority of our customers choose to operate a powerful light-gauge steel framing trio, consisting of Scotpanel 7090, Scotpanel 5140, and Scottruss 6050.  This enables to execute any residential or commercial projects of up to 3-4 stories in height.  Those wishing to extend the application range to about 5-6 stories, elect to acquire Scotpanel 7090, Scotpanel 8140, and Scottruss 6050.

KFS Framemaker Series

The KFS Framemaker roll forming machines (models 1220, 1218, 1420, and 1622) produce structural stud and track profiles from 3.50-in. (89 mm) to 12 in. (305-mm) in depth, 1 5/8-in. (41-mm) to 3.50-in. (89-mm) in width, and from 0.03 in. (0.75 mm) to 0.105 (2.7 mm) in thickness. It supports a wide range of framing features like swaging, rich selection of service hole cut-outs, and dimpling, making it ideal for panelized off-site construction assemblies in structural applications.

APPLICATIONS: Structural framing for residential (single-family and multi-family), modular, multi-story midrise (up to 10 stories), commercial, long-span trusses, and industrial projects. Focused on the traditional SSMA/SFIA/CSSBI framing sections, this system is also popular with the bulk cold-formed steel stud and track building material suppliers.

KFD Framemaker Series

The KFD Framemaker 2025 roll forming machine is tailored for non-structural applications, offering track and stud profiles from 1 5/8 to 6 in. (40 to 150 mm) in depth for curtainwall, architectural framing, and ceiling contractors. It processes materials up to 0.85 mm thick (Ga. 20).  KFD Framemaker 2025 is specially equipped with advanced roll forming features critical to the proper fabrication and performance of thin light-gauge steel sections, such as knurling and corner stiffening.  One of the most popular roll forming machines among wall and ceiling contractors, KFD Framemaker is suitable for both bulk production and panelising.

KSE Series

The leanest entry into a complete wall-and-truss steel framing operation, this two-machine configuration is the smart choice for light-gauge steel fabricators starting with a limited budget — or those who simply prefer to prove out the business before expanding. It capably frames the entirety of 2–3-storey residential and commercial structures, and is particularly well matched to markets where the exterior thermal barrier is provided outside the frame cavity — continuous exterior insulation over the sheathing — so the 3.5-in. (90-mm) deep stud of the Scotpanel 7090 comfortably carries the wall duties that would otherwise call for a deeper section.

The economics of this pair are hard to beat. The Scotpanel 7090 and Scottruss 6050 consume exactly the same light-gauge steel coil, meaning the entire coil stock is of a single width — one SKU to purchase, one to inventory, one to manage — which trims working capital and simplifies procurement to the bare minimum. In production, the Scotpanel 7090 frames the walls, floor and ceiling panels, and modest-span in-line trusses, while the Scottruss 6050 fabricates the floor and roof trusses, taking on the longer spans, heavier loads, and more complex geometries.

KFS FRAMEMAKER 1220 + SCOTTRUSS 6050

A powerhouse pairing with one of the widest application ranges any two machines can deliver, this configuration teams the multi-profile structural muscle of the KFS Framemaker 1220 roll forming machine with the truss versatility of the Scottruss 6050 light-gauge steel truss framing system. It suits light-gauge steel fabricators with a broad business focus: routinely operating in the mid-rise multi-family space of up to 12 storeys, while reaching all the way down to single-family homes, modular and tiny home construction, and even commercial non-load-bearing framing. This combination of roll forming machines is equally well suited to industrial and commercial warehouses involving tall, slender steel stud walls and long truss spans.

The KFD Framemaker 2025 roll forming machine is the production engine. A multi-profile, multi-thickness non-structural steel framing machine forming C-section studs and U-section tracks from 40 to 150 mm (1.63 to 6.00 in.) deep, it runs at up to 120 ft/min on servo drive and comes tooled for the work this trade actually bills: dimpling, web service holes, slotted deflection track, and flange knurling. It is the one machine of the three under full software control, driving straight from ScotSteel — or from Vertex BD, Strucsoft, or FrameBuilder-MRD — so every member emerges punched, cut, and labelled to the design file. The K35C and FrameExtend24 are purpose-built mechanical roll formers that need no such control — the K35C is a cassette machine, exchanged in minutes between furring channel, resilient furring channel, and a deep catalogue of miscellaneous ASTM C645 sections, and FE24 does one thing with total reliability: it re-rolls a finished C-section roughly 2.5 mm smaller in web and flange to produce a sleeve that slides inside the parent member.

That sleeve is the competitive advantage, and it is genuinely rare. Commercial non-load-bearing framing has historically resisted panelization, because the walls hang inside a concrete or structural steel superstructure whose as-built dimensions nobody knows until somebody measures them — so the trade stick-builds interiors and absorbs the labour. FE24 dissolves that constraint. A telescoping panel is pre-assembled in the shop and extends on site to meet the deck exactly, and the same mechanism gets full-height panels through tight elevators, low attics, and constrained basements at reduced height before extending into final position. Paired with the KFD Framemaker’s slotted deflection track tooling, dimensional uncertainty stops being a reason not to panelize — and the sleeves double as boxed-beam sections for posts, headers, and anywhere a closed member is called for.

Owning all three converts a fabricated-component purchase order into in-house capacity: no supplier lead times, no field modification labour, no third-party markup, under 1% material loss, and every offcut recyclable. For an interior systems contractor, that is the whole non-structural scope — fit-out, architectural ornamental, wall finishing, ceilings — fabricated, panelized, and delivered to your own schedule.

Many fabricators running Options 1 through 6 also own an FE24, deploying it in both load-bearing and non-load-bearing wall contexts as a panelizing accelerator and as a means of making clean field adjustments where as-built conditions demand them. Others, already operating the Scotpanel 7090, Scotpanel 5140, and Scottruss 6050 trio, add a KFS Framemaker as the business grows into taller and heavier work — KSI-CFS is one such operation. And others still bolt a KFD Framemaker onto their structural roll forming lines, diversifying a residential or mid-rise light-gauge steel framing business into commercial interiors, drywall, and curtainwall supply without leaving the platform they already know.
