Construction of steel homes can be accomplished using an off-site (stationary factory) or an on-site (mobile factory) approach. A mobile factory is usually executed utilizing a containerized factory setup executed using repurposed shipping containers. However, the compact nature of our Scotpanel roll former makes them also incredibly suitable for even smaller containers, such as utility-vehicle hitched trailers. This video illustrates a time-lapse example of a mobile factory housing a Scotpanel 7090, used to rapidly fabricate and construct frame for single-family steel homes.
