Mr. Rodrigo Pinto, General Manager of Tecno Panel, was introduced to Scottsdale’s steel framing and truss manufacturing technology at the NAHB IBS Builders Show in Florida. Mr. Pinto noticed the Scottsdale roll forming machines manufacturing steel frames at the show, as well as the live software demonstrations. Tecno Panel had been looking for alternative solutions to building with traditional wood framing and wood trusses in Chile. Following the show, Mr. Pinto and other Tecno Panel executives visited one of our locations in Denton, Texas, employing the Scottsdale roll forming technology, and viewed live design, live manufacturing, and construction sites.

Tecno Panel was able to introduce roll forming steel framing technology into the construction industry in Chile, taking on the wood and masonry market.
Working with Scottsdale Construction Systems has enabled Tecno Panel to supply steel framing and trusses to local projects and to successfully change the way they build across Chile. Providing a Complete Steel Framing Solution Package
The Scottsdale team arranged for the necessary steel, fixings, brackets, tools, and consumables to be shipped from the United States to Chile to provide Tecno Panel with a total steel framing solution package and enabled Tecno Panel to be able to undertake projects almost immediately.
A Scottsdale team commissioned and trained Tecno Panel’s staff on the design, engineering, and manufacturing of light-gauge steel framing and trusses at their facility in Chile.
The delivery of all the required elements from one source in the United States enabled Tecno Panel to set up its operations quickly and begin commercial production of steel-framed wall panels and trusses once the training was complete.
